The Charleville AFC was founded in 1968 and has its home grounds at 'Moatville' Limerick Road, Charleville and the Town Park. The club colours are Red and White. The club welcomes all new members and are very proud of the large number of boys and an ever increasing number of girls joining the club.

The home grounds in Moatville have two top class playing pitches and plenty of parking for the teams, the many supporters and also the visiting clubs. The Clubhouse is a credit to the club and has all the facilities needed to host visiting teams in comfort. The Town Park pitch is a a fine pitch and has had many games played on it and is a valuable part of the Charleville AFC Club History.
